BCKA National Championships 2012
The BCKA National Championships are coming!
Saturday 19th May at Lodge Park Sports Centre.
Open to BCKA students only.
Light Contact, Semi Contact and Forms categories available.
Suitable for all ages and ability - great tournament for everyone beginner through to experienced fighter.
First category £15, second category £10.
Spectators also welcome... Come along and support your club!

Irish Open 2012
The BCKA headed out for their annual trip to the Irish Open over the weekend 2nd - 5th March.
An great time was had by all with the team coming away from the tournament with 4 Irish Open Champions and 10 bronze medallists.
Well done to all the fighters who travelled out, keep up the good work. And thanks to the coaches for all their hard work over the last year.

WKC World Championships 2011
BCKA Fighters
This year the WKC World Championships were held in Cadiz, Spain at the Valentin Sancti Petri resort. The BCKA took a team of 13 fighters and 1 kata specialist and brought home a total of 12 medal - 6 world champions and 6 bronze medallists.

Irish Open 2011
On the 4th March the BCKA England Squad headed out to Ireland for Europe's largest Martial Arts tournament, the Irish Open.
It was a fantastic weekend for the squad coming away with one gold, four bronzes and five quarter finalists.
Congratulations to all fighters who took part and a huge thank you to all coaches and supporters who also travelled out.
BCKA National Championships 2011
BCKA National Championships 2011 took place on 21st May 2011 at Lodge Park Sports Centre in Corby.
Once again this was a great tournament with some excellent performances put in by fighters both new and experienced. Thanks to all who attended and to those who helped out during the day and congratulations to all the fighters for making this tournament - your tournament - a success.
WKC World Championships 2010
The 2nd WKC World Championships were held in Albufeira, Portugal. The tournament began on 30th October and finals were held on the 2nd of November. 15 BCKA fighters were in attendance coming away with a total of 13 medals - 3 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze.

MAI Open Championships 2010
The Martial Arts Illustrated Open Championsips 2010 took place on the 26th September 2010. The BCKA would like to thank all those who represented the club at the championships.

BCKA National Championships 2010
BCKA National Championships took place on 23rd May at Lodge Park Sports Centre in Corby.
Many thanks to all who attended and especially to all those who helped out during what turned out to be a rather hot day. Congratulations to all fighters for making this a great tournament.
WKC English National Championships 2010
The 2nd WKC English National Championships took place on March 28th. The BCKA took a strong team of 25 fighters up to Manchester to participate. With many strong performances over the course of the day 21 fighters from the BCKA qualified for this year's World Championships in Portugal by winning a medal in their category. In total 26 medals were won, 4 golds, 8 silvers and 14 bronzes.
Many congratulations to all fighters, in particular those that qualified for the World Championships – lots of hard training now for the World Championships, to be held in Portugal in November.
Irish Open 2010
Over Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th March members of the BCKA England Squad competed in the Irish Open, the world's largest martial arts tournament. This proved once again to be a fantastic experience for the BCKA fighters with the squad winning 2 golds, 1 silver and 4 bronzes, with 3 fighters also making the quarter finals.
FSK Tournament 2010
On 28th February the BCKA travelled up to Manchester to participate in 2010's FSK tournament. A total of 20 fighters took part with the BCKA coming away with 8 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze
medals.

World Championship Success 2009
At the beginning of November 2009 nine fighters from the BCKA and their coaches travelled to Dublin, Ireland to participate in the WKC World Championships as part of the WKC England Team. The
fighters fought exceptionally well and came away with a total of 9 medals - 8 bronze and 1 silver.
